Saturday, April 15th

The Olvera Street Merchant Association Foundation and El Pueblo Historical Monument present “The Blessing of the Animals.” This centuries-old tradition of blessing the animals is celebrated with a procession on Olvera Street led by the Archbishop of Los Angeles. This year also features the dedication and blessing of the new Olvera Street replica cross commemorating the founding of Los Angeles in 1781.  All pets welcome! | 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Procession begins at 2:00 pm)  Monument Wide
